President

Ramon Ramirez

For the best don’t stress vote Ramon for pres

"I am running for SBO for several reasons one being I want to make cottonwood a more inclusive place. While I'm in office I would like to incorporate more of our amazing programs like Theatre, Music, and LIA in our assemblies, games and events. I also want to make our freshman and sophomore's feel more included and heard. Some qualifications I posses are:

I'm already in student gov so I know how things are supposed to been done, I also take LIA which means I'm great with leadership and responsibility, I'm also a funny, dedicated, inclusive, and hard working person. And I'm great with communication."

Samuel Clements

No need to sweat, vote for someone you won't regret, Vote Sam Clements for Student Body President

I want to be Student Body President so I can scream from the top of my lungs how great it is to be a Cottonwood Colt. I want to make events better attended and for all students to feel like they are seen. I want everyone to have a voice and contribute to the overall success of Cottonwood. I would love to promote every club and every win from the Debate team to the Basketball team. I want to highlight all of our strengths that are often unknown to the community inside and outside of Cottonwood. I am friendly, outgoing and not afraid to work hard. I am a team player and always want everyone to be included. I am always looking for the bright side of things and I always want to cheer people on to be the best version of themselves. I am excited to get to work.

Zephaniah Hoko

Strengthening the Culture, Vote Zeph Hoko

I am running for President because I want to lead cottonwood in a better direction then it is now, cause I see the way people treat others who are different from them. I am on the football and track team so I know the importance of teamwork and communication. I plan to represent cottonwood as a positive friend and leader to everyone, not just my sports teams and friends.

Vice-President

Cohen Hyde

Want more Colt Pride? Vote Cohen Hyde for VP

I have wanted to run for SBO ever since I got into High School. I love Cottonwood and I want to work hard to make it the best school it can be. I would want to achieve a school dynamic where everybody is connected and cares for each other and all the students come together for events. This year I was the Junior Class Vice President. I have spent the year working on student government responsibilities. I know the commitment and the time it takes to do the job and I know that I can do it with high proficiency.

Kaitlin kennedy

My hope is to make school a better place for kids and teachers.

Historian

Sarah Lichtenfels

I am running for office because I think I will be a great addition to the Cottonwood team. I have loved seeing the SBO's and all the work they do, which has really interested me. I came to this school the middle of my Sophomore year and fell in love with Cottonwood. I feel that running as an SBO is a way I can give back to the school I love. I have always been a strong leader and spent time developing skills like taking place in leadership programs such as RYLA. CHS has been life changing for me and I want to represent my school the best way I can. By capturing candid moments to show how amazing our school is, I am thrilled to make a difference at Cottonwood.

Communications

Abby Beauchaine

ARE YOU READY TO VOTE FOR ABIGAYLE, KIDS ?? AYE AYE CAPTAIN !!

"I want to run for office because I want to help the students at Cottonwood feel included and like they're a needed part of the student population. I hope to achieve student inclusion, more student attendance at games, dances, club activities and giving those who want more opportunities to explore colleges with GEARUP. Invite those not only within Cottonwood High School, but the Cottonwood Community like the students enrolled who are in clubs at feeder schools.

I believe that I am someone who is easy to talk to, approachable, and can help others in certain situations. I can take the role as a leader or a follower when needed, I'm determined to get something done even at the last second, I put my all into any project I do, and I am not afraid to talk to others or take charge when needed.

I plan to represent CHS while traveling with the clubs and sports teams I'm apart of by being a good team/club member, showing respect towards other schools, those hosting an activity we get to participate in, and encouraging my other teammates and club members to reciprocate the same attitude even when they don't want to. "

Kya Budge

Don't Fudge, vote for Budge

Because I feel that communication for cottonwood events can improve and I have the ability to do that through this sbo position. The qualifications I posses to be an sob is that I have more high enough grades to be an sob and I have been in a leadership position before so I know how to do it. My sister was also an sob a year ago and I used to help her with her sob events. I also have been to two other schools other than cottonwood and I can bring in new ideas that would help bring cwood camaraderie.

Artist

Andy Zavala

Better than candy, vote for Andy!

I hope to use my position to spread positivity and inclusivity throughout the school. I believe I am qualified to be SBO artist because of all my experience in art ranging from near-daily practice to finished art commissions. I plan to represent cottonwood via my actions, helping where I can and overall being kind and accepting of all.

Fernando Becerra

Don't have concern, you voted for Fern,

I am running for SBO artist for two main reasons; my love for art and my love for Cottonwood. I have always seen art as a universal language, meaning that everyone understands art no matter their background. This is why I'm planning on using art to unite every colt in Cottonwood closer together. I am qualified to do this because I have past student government experience as well as past art experience. Plus I am always willing to go the extra mile to get things done, I listen to people who need to be heard, and am open to new ideas.

ASC (x2)

Hunter Vuong

Don't be a Ding Dong vote Hunter Vuong!

My purpose for running for office is simple. I would love to make Cottonwood a better and safer environment where everyone feels accepted. I hope to achieve that I could make it easier for people to get out there and feel wanted in our community. I believe that my attitude and with the people around me, I can really share what I have in store for the school and students.

Jacek Budge

Don't fear, Budge is here

My mom is the president of Stampede so it would be easier to collaborate and plan events to make them even better, fun, and more welcoming to the students who usually don't go to events. I have been in 2 leadership positions in my school and California. I have seen the pros and cons of other schools I have attended so I can have different perspectives.

Yerik Martinez

Don’t be Generic, Vote for Yerik (for SBO ASC).

Hello! My name is Yerik Martinez and I am running for Cottonwood High SBO Associated Student of Cottonwood (ASC). My purpose in office is to create a memorable high school experience for everyone! Especially for my graduating class of 2024. I know saying that my purpose is to create a memorable high school experience is basic, but honestly, it's what everyone wishes for. I want to create a high school environment where we all come together as one and make the best out of it. I want to be that person that is behind all those superb experiences. I want those experiences to be looked back at and they will clearly be remembered as the good ol’ times. I feel like I best qualify for this position because I love planning and organizing events. I believe that my organization skills have improved so much since the time I decided to run for class officer. The current two leadership positions (Cottonwood High Junior Class ASC and Dance Company Choreographer) have helped my organization skills so much. They have shown me that in order for events/movements to run smoothly, everything must be well thought out and arranged the way you vision. Qualifications I hold that would help with this position include: charismatic, confident, kind, creative, integrity, dedicated, passionate, humble, cooperative, flexible (physically and mentally), and inclusive. I carry most of these qualifications in my personality so it’s pretty much a natural state of me. Being an SBO is more than just planning fun activities for your school, it’s about leading your school in a positive direction and representing it as a safe place where you are welcome to be any person you aspire to be. You are helping out your school and the community around you. This is all about passion and what you believe that will help our school and community the best. It’s all about leading and being a positive role model. I want other students to look up to an SBO and want to be like them. They are a big inspiration to our school and that’s why students decided to run. I’m running because I’ve looked up to them as being these individuals that work hard around our school and show lots of support to us students and the community around us. I finally have the chance to become one of them. As an elected candidate, I will do my very best to not let anyone down with what I have to offer. Don’t be generic, vote for Yerik! :)

Remember, you will vote for 2 aSC Candidates
