Each day we will announce a country which represents part of our population here at Cottonwood. Find the flag, take a picture of the flag and show the SBO’s in the Inner Court during both lunches or to Ms. Battista in room 211 after school. You will get a piece of candy from another country!

Talent Clip Submission

We have been continually impressed by the amazing talents of our fellow students! Many talents, such as dance, cooking, music and more, relate to a student's culture. We would love to display a special cultural talent you have to share! Please submit a short (less than 1 minute) video below for us to post and share with Cottonwood.

Hallway Music Request Form

Please fill out this form to request a song important to your culture to be played in the hallway during Culture Week. If we select this song, it will be announced on Kolt News why it is important.

Poster Words & Phrases Request

Language is an important part of culture. We would like to create some posters that display languages spoken at Cottonwood. Please submit a word or phrase in your language. We will verify all translations and make as many posters as possible.

Flag Display Request

Please fill out this form to request a flag important to your culture to be displayed in the Inner Court during Culture Week.

Cultural Art Submission

During Culture Week, we would like to create a mural of cultural art that will be on display in the school. Each art piece will represent a part of culture for a student at Cottonwood. Please use this form to submit an art piece for the display. All art will be verified and approved.

Recipe Submission

Please fill out this form to submit a favorite recipe that is important to you and your culture. We will compile all of the recipes to pass out to students as a way to learn about other cultures.

Restaurant Suggestion

There are many diverse restaurants in Salt Lake City that represent various cultures! Share your favorite restaurant here and we will compile a list to give to students as suggested restaurants. We will NOT use your name.
