There are several reasons I am running for Senior Class office at Cottonwood. First, I want to be a part of creating an atmosphere of unity and acceptance at our school. I know that there is a place for everyone at Cottonwood and I'd like to help students feel respected and included. Second, I want to be a part of promoting school pride and support. I have been to many sporting events and activities at Cottonwood and have been surprised at the low attendance. I hope to be a part of creating a climate of support and pride in all of the different areas that Cottonwood has and encourage more students to get out and cheer! Last, I am helpful and social by nature and I would love to be able to serve my fellow classmates and help to make their final year at Cottonwood successful, fun and memorable.

The reason why I am running for office is that I want to be more included in school and help
to achieve, support, and encourage others to do that same. It feels like students aren't getting interested in attending school events, which frustrates me because our school does amazing events for these students. These events are a great way to be included and make friends, which can make people feel happy and good about themselves. The Qualifications that I possess to be an SBO is that I can take full charge when needed, I have great communication skills, and I work fantastic with others. I want to be a person where students are willing to ask for help and be able to talk to. The ways that I can represent CHS in a positive and innovative manner is by supporting and advertising CHS events, show colt pride, and be there for students who have questions and want to be included in CHS.

My purpose for running and what I hope to achieve this year is to help improve our school spirit. Dances, sporting events, and assemblies are a big part of high school and I think we could get more students to attend along with school spirit. I believe I can represent Cottonwood and make changes for a better school year, while also keeping Cottonwood's best traditions.

The reason I'm running for class officer is because I want to make cottonwood a more fun place for students. I worked as a class officer my freshman year and have gained leadership experience from my time on the Cottonwood soccer team. I plan on representing the school by working hard to get good grades and be a good classmate.
